Orange has debuted its new Crush Acoustic 30 amplifier.
The 30-watt amp features two channels with built-in reverb and chorus, a global notch filter to reduce feedback and a specially-designed eight-inch Voice of the World speaker.
Channel 1 on the amp is acoustic guitar-dedicated, featuring a pad switch that can shave off up to 10dB to help maintain a clean signal for higher output instruments. The first channel also features a three-band EQ and a "color" switch to boost presence and cut midrange.
The amp's second channel comes with an LR input for use with a second guitar or microphone. Its phantom power and mic/line input are also switchable.
Elsewhere, the Crush Acoustic 30 packs a 3.5mm aux-in for use with an MP3 player or other similar audio devices for playing along to backing tracks.
Power-wise, the amp can be powered by either AA batteries or a DC adaptor (which comes with the amp.) According to Orange, at full volume the batteries will provide three hours of playing time, or five hours at 50 percent volume.
The price of the Orange Crush Acoustic 30 amplifier has yet to be announced as of press time.
