Martin has unveiled a number of new acoustic guitars for the 2019 edition of the Summer NAMM show in Nashville.

Though the new instruments include a number of more standard models, we couldn't help but shine a spotlight on the strangest of the one-off limited-edition models that also feature in the bunch, the D-16E "Brexit" acoustic.

Obviously, the elephant in the room with this guitar is its delightfully strange design. Created by Robert F. Goetzl, the artwork depicts George Washington in sunglasses and headphones, positioned in front of the Union Jack and European Union flags. The image is captioned “Brexit, hmmmm? Been there, done that!!”

The model also features a Sitka spruce gloss top and satin-finished sycamore back and sides. A high-performance neck taper and Fishman Matrix VT Enhance electronics also come standard.

The D-16E Brexit is available now for $2,799.
