Next week marks the arrival of yet another Amazon Prime Day event. It can be a bit hit and miss for guitarists, but with 4th of July sales dropping everywhere - and many of them rivalling Black Friday - there's absolutely no reason to hold off spending your hard-earned on some new guitar gear.

Gear shops including Sweetwater, Guitar Center and Fender have gone big for Independence Day. There's up to 60% off at both Guitar Center and Sweetwater with plenty of big brands subject to price-slashing, while Fender's Summer Sale has plenty on offer, with some fantastic guitar savings starting from $300, alongside a range of parts and accessories.

If I was a betting man, I'd put money on this weekend's sales trumping anything that Amazon can deliver next week.

To save you having to wade through Google or a minefield of emails, I’ve rounded up all the 4th of July guitar sales I think are worth shopping today and across the weekend. I've been covering major events such as Black Friday and Prime Day for years and I know what a good deal looks like. I’ll be keeping this page updated as more are added.
