Keeley Electronics has debuted its new Fuzz Bender pedal.
A three-transistor pedal, the Fuzz Bender utilizes a mixture of high-gain silicon and silky smooth germanium to produce wild fuzz tones. It packs a two-band active EQ (bass and treble) with two gyrators and offers over 20dB of boost/cut at 100Hz and 10KHz.
It also features Level and Fuzz knobs, in addition to a Bias Control that will help conjure “fat square waves" and "angular fuzz to glitchy-Velcro attacks.”
The Keeley Fuzz Bender is available now (though Keeley's website currently says that the pedal is out of stock) for $149.
