Fender has unveiled its new Electric XII guitar.
The latest offering in the company's Alternate Reality series - following the Meteora HH, Powercaster and Sixty-Six models - the Electric XII, which is based on the 1965 model of the same name, features dual split-coil pickups, a special 12-string hardtail bridge and a 3-position pickup selector.
The Electric XII's 3-position switch lets users activate either pickup on its own or in tandem, while its fully adjustable hardtail bridge features 12 individual saddles.
The guitar's "Modern-C"-shaped maple neck, meanwhile, features a 9.5”-radius fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and a ’65 12-string headstock.
The Fender Electric XII comes with a deluxe gig bag, and is available now for $999.99.
