Charvel has unveiled two new limited edition Super Stock models, the Super Stock SC1 and the Super Stock Model 2.
The Super Stock SC1 (pictured above) features a So Cal-style alder body with a Black Relic finish, a bolt-on maple neck and a pau ferro fingerboard with a 12”- 16” compound radius, rolled edges, 22 jumbo frets and cream dot inlays.
The SC1 has an HS pickup configuration consisting of an EVH Wolfgang humbucking bridge pickup and a Seymour Duncan SLSD-1N Li’l Screamin’ Demon Strat single coil-sized humbucking neck pickup.
The guitar also features a three-way toggle pickup switch, a heavy knurled flat-top knob for the volume control, a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system, die-cast tuners, a top-mount output jack, a Charvel neckplate, a three-ply white pickguard and chrome hardware.
The Super Stock Model 2 features a San Dimas-style alder body with an original Skull and Bones graphic. The guitar's graphite-reinforced bolt-on maple neck features a scarf joint and a hand-rubbed urethane back finish, while its 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard has rolled edges, 22 jumbo frets and white dot inlays.
Sonically, the guitar packs a single Seymour Duncan TB-6 Distortion humbucking bridge pickup.
The guitar also features a reverse, Jackson-licensed pointed 6-in-line headstock with the Charvel logo, a heavy knurled flat-top knob for the volume control, a top-mount Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system, die-cast tuners, black hardware, a Charvel neckplate and more.
The Charvel Super Stock SC1 and Super Stock Model 2 guitars are available now for $2,068.95 and $1,655.16, respectively.
