The Raya Blue Light Special Guitar features two-piece tanned and lacquered salmon skin on the top of the heavily chambered alder body. The maple neck has a 24 3/4" scale and the fingerboard and headstock are also covered in salmon skin.

Other details include vintage narrow size frets made from a  special bronze alloy; maple bindings with wooden purflings on the body, fingerboard and headstock; perforated steel sides; a Volume knob that's hand made of moose horn, a new handwound Versoul humbucker with Alnico II magnets, and a distinctive new plating for the metal hardware: Frost Silver with a hint of copper tones.
