Charvel has debuted two new Pro-Mod DK24 HH 2PT CM guitars.
The new guitars—the Pro-Mod DK24 HH 2PT CM and Pro-Mod DK24 HH 2PT CM QM—feature a sculpted shredder’s cut heel and a scalloped lower back bout, an alder body in the classic Dinky style and a graphite-reinforced bolt-on caramelized maple “speed neck.”
The guitars also feature a 12”-16” compound radius, a caramelized maple fingerboard with rolled edges, 24 jumbo frets, Luminlay side dots, pearloid dot inlays and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut.
Sonically, the guitars pack a mini two-way toggle switch for series and parallel and an HH pickup configuration consisting of a direct mount Custom Seymour Duncan Full Shred SH-10B bridge pickup and a direct mount Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro APH-1N neck pickup.
Other features include a five-way blade pickup switch, Stratocaster-style skirt knobs for the volume—with a 500K EVH Bourns low-friction potentiometer—and no-load tone controls, a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel, a Gotoh Custom 510 recessed tremolo bridge, locking tuners and chrome hardware.
The Pro-Mod DK24 HH 2PT CM comes in Gloss Black, Matte Blue Frost, Satin Burgundy Mist or Three-Tone Sunburst finishes, while the Pro-Mod DK24 HH 2PT CM QM features a quilt maple top with a Chlorine Burst finish.
The Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 HH 2PT CM and Pro-Mod DK24 HH 2PT CM QM models are available now for $1,360.53 and $1,506.84, respectively.
