Heather Brown Electronicals has announced the release of an updated version of its Blessed Mother pedal.
This decidedly "divine" overdrive features the same germanium/silicon diode combination as its predecessor, but this time features additional output and headroom for increased tone control, in addition to the option of 9V or 18V operation.
The pedal's other controls include your usual volume, drive, treble and bass knobs, in addition to a fifth, adjustable transparency control called the Immaculator. This allows guitarists to blend back in a guitar’s dry signal and employ the Blessed Mother as a clean boost, if so desired.
Elsewhere, true-bypass switching and a "halo" LED - which stays lit when the pedal is engaged - come standard.
The Heather Brown Electronicals Blessed Mother V2 is available now for $220.
