ESP Guitars has debuted four new Kirk Hammett Ouija Sparkle models.

The hand-crafted guitars - based on the custom models Hammett has played on recent Metallica tours - feature neck-thru-body construction and a three-piece extra-thin U-shaped maple neck. The four models, two Custom Shop-built ESP versions and two LTD versions, will each be available in Purple Sparkle and Red Sparkle finishes.

Both versions of the guitar feature a three-piece extra-thin U-shaped maple neck with an ebony fingerboard and EMG KH Bone Breaker pickups. The Ouija Board graphic in gold, and custom star and moon inlays, also come standard on both models.

The ESP version also includes a scalloped fretboard for frets 17-24, mother-of-pearl inlays and a Floyd Rose Original tremolo, in contrast to the LTD’s Floyd Rose 1000 Series.

The LTD Kirk Hammett Ouija Sparkle is available for preorder now for $1,399, and will be made in runs of 500 for each finish.

The ESP Ouija Sparkle will be available next year - in a limited run of 30 pieces per finish - for a tidy $12,000. It comes with a special Ouija case, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Hammett, one 8x10 photo of Hammett with his Sparkle Ouija and the factory build sheet from the ESP Custom Shop.
