Back in September, the Chicago Music Exchange got some impassioned "oooh"s and "aaah"s from the guitar community when it announced that it had three genuine blackguard Fenders in its possession. Amazingly, we got word this morning that the CME now has a perhaps even-more-impressive trio of guitars in its possession.

The store now has - for the first time in its history - three authentic Les Paul Standard Bursts under its roof. The pristine guitars – one '59 Burst and two 1960 “Scarface” models – are available from the store now.

If that wasn't enough, to celebrate the Bursts, the CME is giving away a 60th Anniversary Les Paul from the Gibson Custom Shop.

We just wish we could've kept the Editors' Pick award-winning example we reviewed back in June for ourselves...
