Guitar Center have cut the price on this Inverness Green finish Epiphone ES-335 Traditional Pro from $599 down to $479 – an instant saving of $120. This bargain axe honors Gibson’s traditional double-cutaway laminated maple semi-hollow body/mahogany neck 335 design, while a pair of splittable, higher output Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers provide a more modern tone.

Gibson introduced the ES-335 in 1958 as new style of electric guitar. Its thinline double-cutaway semi-hollowbody design set a precedent that is hard to beat. As relevant today as it was when it was launched all those years ago, the 335 is a popular choice of guitar for a wide variety of styles from jazz to hard rock.

Inverness Green was one of ten different custom color options that appeared on a chart with the launch of the Gibson Firebird range in 1963. Custom color 335s are rare however, giving this instrument a distinctive look.
