PRS Unveils New, Limited-Edition John Mayer Lunar Ice Silver Sky
This guitar's polychromatic "flip-flop" Lunar Ice finish reflects light differently at every angle.
PRS guitars has unveiled a new, limited-edition version of its John Mayer signature guitar, the Silver Sky.
Most notably, this version of the instrument boasts a polychromatic "flip-flop" Lunar Ice finish, which reflects light differently at every angle. It's also the first limited-edition Silver Sky with a maple fretboard.
Otherwise, this Silver Sky features the same specs as its less flashy counterparts – an alder body, a reverse headstock, PRS' signature bird inlays, three 635JM single coil pickups, and a steel PRS tremolo with Gen III knife-edge screws.
The PRS Silver Sky Limited Edition Lunar Ice guitar will be only be made available in a limited run of 1,000 instruments. A price and release date for the guitar have yet to be announced.
