I’ve covered Black Friday for years, but this sale is genuinely next level for guitar players – Sweetwater just dropped up to 80% off guitars, amps, and pedals
Thousands of new Black Friday guitar deals just went live at Sweetwater, and trust me, guitarists won’t want to miss this one
We’ve still got two weeks to go til the official start of the Black Friday guitar deals, yet plenty of retailers have already gone live with their main sales. Joining the fray today is Sweetwater, which has just announced a massive Black Friday sale with thousands of discounts on guitar gear and a whopping up to 80% off.
From electric guitars, to guitar pedals, to tube amplifiers, the sale features pretty much any kind of guitar gear you can think of, and plenty of other bits like audio interfaces, microphones, and essential accessories. Pretty much every major brand is represented too, with discounts on Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, PRS, Taylor, and loads more.
I’m expecting this sale to last all the way through to Cyber Weekend at the end of the month, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Sweetwater added more deals in the run-in to keep interest in the sale high. After that, it’s likely to convert over to a Cyber Monday sale, where the emphasis will likely be on tech-focused gear like headphones, recording gear, and guitar plugins.
Sweetwater Black Friday sale: All the early deals
Sweetwater has jumped the gun with its Black Friday sale, launching a full two weeks before the official arrival of Cyber Weekend at the end of November. With thousands of discounts on some of the biggest guitar brands out there, it’s the perfect place to pick up a bargain on the likes of Gibson, Fender, PRS, Taylor, and more.
First up to catch my eye in the sale was this stunning Guild T-50 Slim Dynasonic hollow body guitar. It’s got a hefty $200 reduction from the regular price, taking it down to just $799. Combining the classic arch top style with a more comfortable, slimmer profile, it’s a great guitar if you want traditional tones without having to wield something big and bulky. A DeArmond Dynasonic in the neck position delivers something between a single coil pickup and a P-90, with a punchy tone that has plenty of bite.
Going from old-school to something more space age, the Line 6 DL4 MKII delay pedal has got a nice $50 reduction in the Sweetwater sale, giving you a modern classic delay pedal for a lot less. Featuring all the original delay tones, it has the same amount of digital reverb tones too, giving you a range of sounds to choose from. Add in a built-in looper and you’ve got a pedal that goes far beyond any other delay.
Probably the most popular practice amp on earth right now, the Boss Katana 50 Gen 3 has got a $50 discount, making an already great value amp even better for your wallet. Packing a raft of fantastic tones and Boss’s legendary effects, it’s perfect for any kind of guitarist whether you want to play blues or full-on heavy metal.
