JHS Pedals has launched the Paul Gilbert PG-14, its long-teased, highly anticipated collaboration with the guitar wizard.

Designed exactly to Gilbert's specifications, the PG-14 is an FET-based unit that emulates the touch, feel and response of a pushed tube amp. Essentially, the pedal is designed to bring the dynamics and tone one would associate with a stadium rig to much lower, more palatable levels of volume.

An active mid-frequency preamp has been placed at the front of the pedal's FET stage, allowing for a wide variety of tonal possibilities.

The JHS Paul Gilbert PG-14 pedal runs on 9V DC negative center power, and is available now for $199.
