Christone "Kingfish" Ingram Premieres New Song, "Ghost From Christmas Past"
Forget "Blue Christmas"! Be the first to hear this holiday season slow-burner from one of blues guitar's brightest young talents.
Blues guitar up-and-comer Christone "Kingfish" Ingram has kindly given us an exclusive premiere of his first-ever holiday recording, "Ghost From Christmas Past." You can check it out above.
Written by Tom Hambridge and Richard Fleming, Ingram recorded the bluesy holiday season slow-burner in Nashville at the Ocean Way Studio. It will be available for download and on all streaming services tomorrow, Friday, November 13.
“The holidays are normally a time for celebration, but this year things will be a bit dampened since we are still battling COVID-19," Ingram told GP.
"'Ghost From Christmas Past' is a song that’s somewhat reflective of the times. As much as it is a melancholy blues song about happier times from the past, I do hope that the song’s arrangement and the sound of my guitar offers folks a moment of joy and cheer that the holidays should bring.”
