Blackstar Unveils New Carmen Vandenberg CV30 Signature Amp
A 30W 1x12 combo, the CV30 sports clean and overdrive channels, each with two distinct voices.
Blackstar has teamed up with Jeff Beck and Bones UK guitarist Carmen Vandenberg for a new signature guitar amp, the CV30.
A 30W 1x12 combo, the CV30 sports clean and overdrive channels, each with two voices – American Clean and British Clean, and Classic Overdrive and Modern Overdrive.
Control-wise, the pedal platform-inclined clean channel sports only your basic volume and tone controls, while the overdrive channel features bass, middle, and treble knobs, plus Blackstar's trademark ISF control.
Built around a 6L6 power section, the CV30's sounds come by way of its Celestion V-Type speaker.
Other features on the amp include a speaker-emulated line output, series effects loop, and dark and light reverb options.
The Blackstar CV30 Carmen Vandenberg signature amplifier will be available later this year – in a limited run of 100 autographed, certificate of authenticity-boasting units – for $999. A two-way footswitch is included.
