I’ve tracked down an amazing $599 saving on a legendary Gibson J-45 and $250 off a PRS SE Silver Sky as Guitar Center officially launches its huge 30% off Memorial Day sale
Treat yourself to a gear upgrade with some massive savings over at Guitar Center for Memorial Day
The Memorial Day guitar sales are officially live and kicking, and latest to join the fray is Guitar Center, who’ve launched a sale with up to 30% off a huge range of guitar gear. They’ve seen fit to slash the prices of thousands of electric guitars, acoustic guitars, amps, pedals, and plenty more, with discounts hitting hundreds of dollars off.
The sale is live now until May 27th, so it will run the full Memorial Day weekend and a couple of days after. Pretty much every major manufacturer is included in the sale, with Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, PRS, Martin, Taylor, and plenty more enjoying money off.
Part of my job is to keep track of all the best deals going around, which I do weekly in The Pick: Deals newsletter. So I know which items have been on sale for a while, and which are brand new. If you’re looking for the latter, then you’ll definitely want to check out a sweet discount of up to $250 off a PRS SE Silver Sky, which is one of the most popular guitars released over the past few years.
In our Silver Sky review we gave it a hefty four and a half stars out of five, and one of the things we loved most about it was the excellent build quality, which is especially good considering the cost. It’s also a bit of a tonal beast, capable of all those classic Strat tones and plenty more, so you can see why it’s been such a hit amongst guitarists.
Also on sale is this wicked Gibson J-45 Studio, which has got a humongous $599 off the price. That takes it down well below the $2,000 mark, excellent value for a pro-level dreadnought acoustic. It’s got an all-solid tonewood combo of Sitka spruce and walnut back and sides, helping it deliver a booming voice that will cut through and stay organic no matter how hard you hit it.
Finally, the Warm Audio WA-TS has got a cool 20% discount, bringing the price down to just $119. Considering you get three TS circuits in it with the TS9, 808, and TS10, that makes it superb value for money for all the Tube Screamer fans out there, offering you all the most popular circuits for a price that’s just above what a single TS9 costs at the moment.
