Watch Brian May Play "Ode to Joy"

From being crowned the greatest rock guitarist of all time, to leading all-star virtual jams for the ages, to assisting in the creation of new models for his guitar company, Queen's Brian May has been plenty busy over the last year.

Now, we've gotten a taste of May's latest project, a recording of Beethoven’s Ode to Joy as part of the "Himno a la Alegría" video.

An all-star union of some of the biggest names in the Spanish music industry, the video aims to – in the words of the dozens of artists behind its creation – have a "voice of harmony and hope, of brotherhood and of union."

“A stupendous event!,” May wrote on Instagram of the video. “Beethoven’s Ode to Joy becomes 'Himno a la Alegría' – with a dazzling array of talent. I was honored to be a guest! Congratulations to all! Bri.”

You can check the full video out above. May's portion begins at around the 1:40 mark.
