Jethro Tull are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their album Minstrel in the Gallery with a series of deluxe reissues.
The sets, which are being released through Parlophone, include the 2CD/2DVD La Grand Edition, which features a 5.1 surround mix by Steven Wilson, unseen studio footage, a full live concert from 1975 and an 80-page book that includes lyrics and rare photographs.
Minstrel in the Gallery was the band’s eighth studio album and marked a departure from their previous release, War Child, which featured string orchestrations. For Minstrel, Tull used a string quartet and returned to the combination of electric and acoustic songs, as heard on their groundbreaking 1971 album, Aqualung.
