Gibson has pulled every single video from its YouTube channel.
A visit to Gibson's YouTube channel reveals that the company's formidable presence on the platform, including all of its videos, has been completely wiped out. Gibson Entertainment, another of the company's YouTube channels, has also had all of its videos pulled.
Notably, Epiphone's YouTube channel appears to be unaffected by this development.
Of course, this isn't the first time in 2019 that Gibson's YouTube activity has raised eyebrows.
Back in June, the company quickly pulled a highly controversial video called "Play Authentic," after its highly negative reception within the guitar community. Featuring the company's Director of Brand Experience, Mark Agnesi, the video appeared to take aim at guitar manufacturers specializing in Gibson-esque designs.
Though Gibson did follow through on the legal threats it outlined in the video, itself a highly controversial move, it's unclear why the brand has erased its YouTube videos specifically, as its Facebook and Twitter pages appear to be untouched as of now.
