Of all the Black Friday deals, here's the fabbest. Disney+ just launched their best offer of the year: a Disney+/Hulu (with ads) bundle for only $4.99/month for 12 months – that's down from the usual monthly price of $12.99, a saving of more than $95.

Disney ain't daft. The deal coincides with the release of their 8-part docu-series The Beatles: Anthology. First released in 1995, it has been restored and remastered and is now showing exclusively on Disney+.

Think about it. When Anthology was released on DVD in the 90s, it would have cost you $4-6 just to rent it for a night or two (and that's if they let you have all five DVDs in one: around here, they split it into two parts, the swines). This way, you can watch all 8 episodes – plus an all-new 9th – without having to get in your car or run the gauntlet of local drunks. But be quick: the offer runs to December 1 only.

Disney+/Hulu Disney+/Hulu bundle: was $12.99 now $4.99 at Disney+

It's Disney+. It's Hulu. It's John, Paul, George and Ringo's journey from Liverpool to the forefront of the 1960s counterculture, and their eventual breakup, with unseen behind-the-scenes footage. I mean, apparently there's some other stuff on Disney and Hulu too – but you're getting all your value right there. New and eligible returning subscribers can sign up for the Disney+/Hulu bundle (with ads) for only $4.99/month for 12 months. A monthly sub usually costs $12.99/month so you're saving $95 for the year compared to the standard monthly subscription.

The 2025 version of The Beatles: Anthology is in HD, Dolby Vision with 5.1 surround sound, with the whole project overseen by Apple Corps, and Ring Lord Peter Jackson (whose The Beatles: Get Back doc is also on Disney+) is also onboard, with new audio mixes by Giles Martin. It's the full monty.

The new ninth episode includes previously unseen footage of Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr together in 1994/95 to work on Anthology and reflect on their time in the band.

Disney+/Hulu is home to a load more music films, as well as the entire Disney universe, a faraway galaxy's worth of Star Wars, plus Marvel, Pixar and lovely old National Geographic. You didn't get all that for your five bucks at Blockbuster, didcha?
