Andy Aledort is well known as a guitarist and instructor. In addition to his long association with our sister publication Guitar World as a columnist and instructor, Aledort has performed with Dickey Betts & Great Southern, Double Trouble and the Experience Hendrix tour.

In the video below, Aledort plays and discusses the Ashburn from John Page Classic. Designed by John Page, a cofounder of the Fender Custom Shop, the Ashburn is a production guitar ($1,499 MSRP) with all the features in the high-end custom guitars John Page builds himself.

The Ashburn is produced to spec in a state-of-the-art workshop in Japan, then set up in the U.S. by authorized John Page Classic techs. The guitar comes with a Lifetime Performance Guarantee. (See John Page Classic website for details).

John Page’s resume includes building legendary guitars for artists such as Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, David Gilmour, Elliot Easton and Cesar Rosas. He has also designed guitars in conjunction with Harley Davidson, Playboy and Jaguar automobiles. His work has earned him prominent attention in several books as well, including The Dream Factory: Fender Custom Shop, by Tom Wheeler, and other leading books on Fender and Fender Custom Shop.

The video below was recorded at Nuthouse Recording in Hoboken, NJ. For more information on John Page Classic, visit the company’s website.
