Robert Plant is going to brave the Facebook hordes on Tuesday, September 9, by taking part in a live chat at 9 am Eastern Time.

The event is to promote the release of his tenth solo album, Lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar [Nonesuch/Warner Bros], which dropped today, September 8.

Go here to experience the chat:

Plant produced Lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar with sonic iconoclast Tchad Blake mixing. The album was recorded in England at Helium Studios (Wiltshire), Real World Studios (Bath), and Contino Rooms (London).

Interestingly, this is the first studio album in which Plant's backing band, The Sensational Space Shifters, appears. The band includes Justin Adams (guitars, djembe, tehardant, bendirs), Liam Tyson (guitar, banjo), John Baggott (keyboards), Juldeh Camara (kologo, ritti), Billy Fuller (bass), and Dave Smith (drums).
