Listen to Joe Bonamassa Tear It up on Marc Broussard’s New Single, “That's What Love Will Make You Do"
Great music for a great cause, this cover of Little Milton’s '70s Stax classic appears ahead of the king of Bayou Soul’s new album, 'S.O.S. 4: Blues for Your Soul’
Monster vocalist and “king of Bayou Soul” Marc Broussard has teamed up with blues rock behemoth Joe Bonamassa on his new single, “That's What Love Will Make You Do.”
The gutsy rendition of Little Milton’s Billboard top ten hit is taken from Broussard’s forthcoming album, S.O.S. 4: Blues for Your Soul.
The new LP is due for release on March 3 via Keeping the Blues Alive Records. Produced by Bonamassa and Josh Smith, Bonamassa contributes guitar solos to four of the album’s 12 tracks.
Speaking of his new single, Broussard admitted, "Tackling Little Milton was a daunting task. He had an epic voice that was intimidating to attempt. I only hope I did him justice. I didn't want to overdo it, but we wanted to put our stamp where it needed to be. I'm so glad we did."
Touted as “Broussard's best album to date,” S.O.S. 4: Blues for Your Soul is a masterful collection of blues and soul classics, plus one original number co-written with Smith and Calvin Turner called "When Will I Let Her Go."
In addition to Little Milton’s “That's What Love Will Make You Do," the LP features Son House's "Empire State Express," Johnny "Guitar" Watson's "Cuttin' In," Bobby Blue Bland's "I've Got to Use My Imagination," Howlin' Wolf's "I Asked for Water" and more.
Created in order to raise funds for the country's underprivileged youth, S.0.S. 4: Blues for Your Soul is great music for a great cause, with proceeds being donated to the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation.

"I'm really proud of all the S.O.S albums," continues Broussard. "But this one, in particular, seems really fantastic because we have some extra strength with my pal Joe Bonamassa. His stepping in by producing, playing on the record, plus releasing it on his label is truly a gift.”
