Ibanez has unveiled updates to Joe Satriani and Steve Vai's respective signature guitars for 2021.

Vai's PIA3761 is a new version of his PIA signature model (first launched at Winter NAMM 2020) with a Black Flat finish, contrasting gold and black hardware, and a floral pattern on the guitar's DiMarzio UtoPIA pickups.

Otherwise, the guitar's signature features – including the unique Petal Grip and Edge tremolo with a Lion’s Claw tremolo cavity and magnetic tremolo cavity plate – remain.

Elsewhere, the PIA3761 is built with an alder body, a five-piece maple and walnut neck, and a rosewood fretboard with a blossom inlay and 24 stainless steel frets.

Satriani's signature JS2410, meanwhile, comes in a Sky Blue finish with contrasting red DiMarzio Satch Track and Mo’ Joe pickups.

Elsewhere, the alder body, three-piece maple/bubinga neck, and rosewood fingerboard of Satriani's Muscle Car Purple JS2450 remain, as does its Edge tremolo – with an Ultralite tremolo arm – and the hi-pass filter on its volume control.
