Earlier this year, on February 25, Mick Fleetwood hosted an all-star tribute concert for his former Fleetwood Mac bandmate, Peter Green.

The concert – which took place at the London Palladium – featured Kirk Hammett, Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend, Steven Tyler, Noel Gallagher, Jonny Lang, Bill Wyman, John Mayall, Neil Finn, Andy Fairweather Low, Christine McVie, Zak Starkey and more.

The show was made all the more poignant just a few months later, on July 25, when Green passed away at the age of 73.

Now, a film and live album documenting the show – Mick Fleetwood & Friends Celebrate the Music of Peter Green and the Early Years of Fleetwood Mac – have been announced. The film will be released in cinemas in March 2021, with select screenings on March 23 and 28.

The live album will be available in gatefold 4LP, 2CD/Blu-Ray mediabook, and digital audio sets, and will arrive on April 30, 2021, via BMG.

“The concert was a celebration of those early blues days where we all began, and it’s important to recognize the profound impact Peter and the early Fleetwood Mac had on the world of music," Fleetwood said in a statement.

"Peter was my greatest mentor and it gave me such joy to pay tribute to his incredible talent. I was honored to be sharing the stage with some of the many artists Peter has inspired over the years and who share my great respect for this remarkable musician. ‘Then Play On’...”
