The Oak Ridge Boys Among New Inductees to Country Music Hall of Fame

The Oak Ridge Boys, the late Grady Martin and Jim Ed Brown and the Browns will be inducted into the Hall of Fame later this year.

The esteemed Country Music Association has announced three newly elected inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame. The chosen three will receive a tribute through words and song by friends and colleagues during the Medallion Ceremony.

In the Modern Era category - the Oak Ridge Boys.

 In the Veteran's Era category - Jim Ed Brown and the Browns.

The late Grady Martin will be inducted as a Recording and/or Touring Musician active prior to 1980. 

 The special Medallion Ceremony will be held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in the CMA Theater later this year. The coveted bronze plaques honoring the new Country Music Hall of Fame members will be presented and later displayed in the museum's Rotunda.
