Ronnie Wood, longtime guitarist for The Rolling Stones, has announced a new solo album, Mad Lad.

Recorded live by Wood and his Wild Five at Wimborne’s Tivoli Theatre last year, Mad Lad pays tribute to one of Wood's biggest musical heroes, Chuck Berry. You can check out the album's first single, "Talking About You," below.

Mad Lad features guest appearances from singer Imelda May and pianist Ben Waters, and promises to be the first in a trilogy of albums, each paying tribute to one of Wood's musical heroes, from the guitarist and the Wild Five in the coming years.

The album will be available in digital, CD, vinyl, deluxe box set (featuring a CD, LP and 12x12 artcard of the album artwork) and super deluxe limited-edition box set (featuring a CD, LP, 12x12 art print, signed and numbered set list and T-Shirt) iterations on November 15 via BMG.

You can check out the album's artwork, hand-painted by Wood himself, and tracklist below. To preorder the album, point your browser this way.
