Robert Cray’s new career retrospective comes out August 28, and to mark the occasion he’s launched a trailer, which can be seen below.

Titled 4 Nights of 40 Years Live, the album features live performances recorded at Venture, Belly Up, Saban Theatre and Cray’s rehearsal studio in December 2014.

The album will be released by the Mascot Label Group and offered in many formats: as two vinyl albums, a two-CD-plus-DVD package, a two-CD-plus-Blu-ray package, and as a digital download.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray contain 90 minutes of concert footage from multiple camera angles, creating an incredible perspective. The video also contains archival footage from Cray’s 40-year career, personal in-depth interviews with Cray and his band members, and testimonials from legends such as Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Keith Richards, Jimmie Vaughan and Bonnie Raitt.
