Paul Stanley Furious About Kiss' Macy's Parade Performance

Kiss were one of the unexpected highlights of the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade last week. The band lip-synched to "Rock and Roll All Nite" while riding a float down Fifth Avenue, much to the delight of revelers.

Apparently, guitarist Paul Stanley was not as pleased. "Bluntly. We were screwed over & misled by the exec in charge of #MacysThanksgivingDayParade. We ALL deserved better," Stanley tweeted the day after the parade.

The guitarist didn't elaborate on what Macy's did to bother him.

Bassist Gene Simmons had no complaints, apparently. "I was proud to be a part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade," he told the New York Post's Page Six. "My tongue is God-given. As regards to the parade, my intention was to be tongue in cheek. Mostly, I kept it in my cheek."

Mostly, but not entirely. Watch Kiss' performance below and see if you can figure out why Stanley considered the show such a turkey.
