Vince Neil has been charged with misdemeanor battery in an incident that occurred last April 8, when the former Mötley Crüe singer allegedly pulled an autographed seeker by her hair and pushed her to the ground.

Neil was having lunch with actor Nicolas Cage and comedian Carrot Top at the Aria Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Due to unknown security issues, the group was not allowed to leave the restaurant for more than an hour. Once they left, a woman asked Cage for his autograph, after which Neil reportedly attacked her.

In a video released at the time of the incident, Cage could be seen trying to restrain Neil and calm him down after the alleged attack.

Neil claims he brushed past the woman, but security footage reportedly shows him dragging her to the ground by her hair. If found guilty, Neil could receive up to six months in jail.

This is just the latest problem for the singer. In December, he was cited for exceeding the 1,000 gallon daily water limit at his California home, using 2,200 gallons at a time when the state is suffering from a long drought. Neil has also been accused of defrauding investors behind his Las Vegas Outlaws arena football team.
