Maroon 5’s James Valentine Talks Guitars in Latest Ernie Ball ‘Pursuit of Tone’ Episode

Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine will be featured in the September 16 episode of Ernie Ball: The Pursuit of Tone, the new AT&T Audience Network documentary series featuring musical artists and storytellers.

Set to air at 8pm ET/PT on DIRECTV and U-Verse (DIRECTV Ch 239/U-verse Ch 1114), the September 16 episode spotlights Valentine, guitarist for multi-Platinum-selling and multi-Grammy Award-winning rock band Maroon 5. Through interviews and rare footage, Valentine takes viewers behind the scenes and discusses the band's 2005 Grammy for “Best New Artist,” bandmate Adam Levine’s gig as a coach on The Voice and how it gave the band greater exposure, and the stories and creative process behind some of the Maroon 5’s biggest hits, including “She Will Be Loved” and “Moves Like Jagger.”

Recent episodes of Ernie Ball: The Pursuit of Tone have featured blues legend Buddy Guy, Mike Ness from punk firebrands Social Distortion, The Cult’s Billy Duffy, singer-songwriter Hunter Hayes and Tom DeLonge of Blink-182/Angels & Airwaves.
