It’s always fascinating to hear a song that’s typically played on electric guitar performed on acoustic.
Consider this acoustic-guitar arrangement and performance of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" by Italian guitarist Luca Stricagnoli. The guitarist deftly combines Angus Young's lead work with the song's vocal melody, all while performing rhythmic tapping on the guitar’s body to make this a pretty cool one-man-band performance.
Stricagnoli is a Candyrat Records artist and has released his self-titled debut, which includes this version of “Thunderstruck” and nine other songs, including two original compositions. The 23-year-old began studying classical guitar at 10. He plays Serracini Guitars.
