Black Sabbath have just announced they’ll add three shows to the final North American leg of their 2016 farewell tour.
The new shows are November 8 at BOK Center in Tulsa, November 10 at Toyota Center in Houston, and November 12 at AT&T Center in San Antonio. These dates and the previously announced headlining slot at this year's 20th anniversary celebration of Ozzfest on September 24 come at the end of the band's North American tour, which kicks off August 17 at Nikon At Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY.
These dates aside, Sabbath have been reluctant to say exactly when the tour, known simply as The End, will truly end. It’s expected to culminate at the Estadio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil.
However, rumors have been circulating in the past few weeks that some extra U.K. shows might be added, and now it looks like they're going to happen.
Many flyers around Donington Park—where the band will make what is supposed to be its final U.K. performance at this weekend's Download Festival—appear to confirm that they will return to the U.K. for seven more shows that include two in London, one final Scotland date and two more in the heavy metal legends' hometown of Birmingham, England.
Is this for real? Stay tuned.
