A career-spanning Rory Gallagher compilation, Blues, will be released on May 31 by Chess/UMe.

Produced by Gallagher's nephew, Daniel Gallagher, the set features rare and unreleased recordings of Gallagher playing his favorite blues material, in addition to guest sessions with legendary bluesmen like Muddy Waters and Albert King.

Blues is available in formats including a 16-track 1CD and digital edition, 2LP vinyl and limited edition 2LP blue vinyl editions and a deluxe 36-track 3CD and digital edition. 90 percent of the recordings on the deluxe edition of Blues—which date from 1971 to 1994—are previously unreleased. You can check out the full tracklist for the set below.

The deluxe edition also includes a booklet with previously unseen pictures of Gallagher, plus a new essay by blues/rock writer Jas Obrecht.
