Ace Frehley recently showed Total Guitar one of the initial run of signature Les Paul Customs that Gibson made for him during his 1995 reunion with Kiss.
In the video from that session, Frehley points out a few of the features found only on the first run of 12 guitars, including a special Ace Frehley signature inlay and a depiction of him in Kiss make-up on the headstock.
Frehley’s new album, Origins Vol. 1, comes out April 15 and features covers of songs by artists that have inspired him over the years. The record includes collaborations with his former Kiss bandmate Paul Stanley, Slash, Lita Ford, John 5 and Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready among others.
