It’s always a treat to see some great guitars get put through their paces…which is exactly what Richie Sambora and Orianthi do in the video below.

The two went shopping at Norman’s Rare Guitars and tried out a range of guitars, including a 1971 Fender Stratocaster, several Telecasters—including a Fender Custom Shop Sparkle, a ’64 Telecaster Reissue and a 1969 Telecaster Custom—two 1955 Esquires, a 1950 Broadcaster, 1937 and 1938 Gibson J-35 acoustics, and a 1957 Gibson Les Paul Special TV.

In the video, Norm also reveals that he’s writing a new book—“I’m about 85 percent done with it,” he says—and that Richie will write the foreword to it. Norm’s previous book, Norman’s Rare Guitars: 30 Years of Buying, Selling & Collecting—was released in 1999.
