Tedeschi Trucks Band have offered up footage of their 2019 performance of Derek & The Dominos’ Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out.

Taken from upcoming live album Layla Revisited (Live at LOCKN'), the show sees Derek Trucks trade tasteful bluesy lead lines with special guest Trey Anastasio, as well as longtime collaborator Doyle Bramhall II, with Susan Tedeschi handling rhythm guitar and vocal duties.

Following Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad, the live cut is our second taste of the album, which sees the blues-rock ensemble perform Derek & the Dominos’ iconic record Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs in its entirety.

The show was recorded at the LOCKN' Festival in Arrington, Virginia on August 24, 2019.

Both Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks have a strong connection to Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs. The album was released on November 9, 1970 – Tedeschi's date of birth – while Trucks' parents were such fans of the record that they named him after Derek & the Dominos.

Trucks also spent 15 years as a member of the Allman Brothers Band until 2014, and has toured extensively with Eric Clapton.

Layla Revisited (Live At LOCKN’) drops July 16 via Fantasy Records, and is available to preorder now.
