Fender Unveils New Custom Shop Meteora
This ultra high-end, one-off Meteora features an ash body, quartersawn maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and TV Jones pickups.
Fender has unveiled a Custom Shop version of its groundbreaking offset model, the Meteora.
Constructed by Fender Principal Master Builder Ron Thorn, the ultra high-end, one-off Meteora features an ash body, a quartersawn maple neck - with a ’60s C carve profile, bone nut and American Pro tuners - and a rosewood fingerboard, with pearloid block inlays, a 9.5” radius and 6105 frets.
Unlike the standard Meteora, which is built with Tele or dual-humbucker pickup configurations, the Custom Shop Meteora packs TV Jones Classic and Classic Plus pickups.
The Fender Custom Shop Meteora is available now - exclusively at Canada’s Lauzon Music, and in an Closet Classic White Blonde lacquer finish - for $10,999 CAD (~ $8,000).
