“You are 1 seriously effed-up individual and you will get yours trust me!” Liam Gallagher sounds off on the fan who fired a flare gun into a crowd at Oasis's show in Melbourne
The group was halfway through their closing number on Friday night when an attendee sent up two flares
Liam Gallagher let loose with an expletive-laced post following an Oasis performance in Australia where a fan fired a flare gun.
The frontman for the famed Brit-pop group was understandably angered after an attendee launched flares into the crowd during the group’s performance at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Friday, October 31, where the band was performing on its Live 25 tour.
Gallagher launched some fireworks of his own the following morning in a post to his X account.
“To the massive C**T who launched that flare into the crowd last night at the gig in Melbourne you are 1 seriously fucked up individual and you will get yours trust me,” he wrote.

The band was halfway through the night’s closing song, “Champagne Supernova,” when a flare went up and landed with a flash among the attendees. A second flare followed shortly afterward.
The incident didn’t disrupt the show, but one attendee interviewed by News.com.au said the band noticed something bad had happened.
“My husband thought Noel Gallagher looked worried. And then Liam like waggled his finger and went ‘naughty, naughty’,” she said.

It’s not known if any injuries were sustained as a result.
The event recalls an infamous episode from December 1971 in Montreux, Switzerland, at the Montreux casino’s theater. Frank Zappa and the Mothers were performing when a fan fired a flare gun at the ceiling, igniting the building, which was totally destroyed.
Deep Purple were set to record their album Machine Head at the theater, but were forced to find another location. The incident wasn’t a total loss, though, having inspired their most famous song, “Smoke on the Water.”
Oasis are in the midst of their Live 25 reunion tour, for which Noel Gallagher has pulled out a new electric guitar, a Gibson Les Paul with P90s and a relic-ed finish. Sadly for guitar-playing fans, the instrument was limited to just 25 examples. His pedalboard for the tour is equally lustworthy.
