French-born gypsy jazz guitarist Stephane Wrembel — who is probably best known for his song "Bistro Fada," which appears in Woody Allen's 2011 hit film Midnight in Paris — has announced a winter tour of the US.
Wrembel, who was born in Paris, released his fourth album, Origins in 2012 and performed "Bistro Fada" at the Academy Awards earlier this year. He also made studio visits to NPR Weekend Edition, BBC Radio, WNYC and others. He toured the US and Europe and helped Gentleman Shaver win a Clio Award for “Best Original Song Used in a Commercial.”
