While it seems he's still one step shy of screaming "We're Not Gonna Take It," Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider has officially -- and emphatically -- denounced Paul Ryan's use of the 1984 Twisted Sister hit in his campaign to become the vice president of the United States.
Snider's management team found out about the song usage today and quickly released this comment from Snider:
"I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan's use of my song "We're Not Gonna Take It" as recorded by my band Twisted Sister. There is almost nothing on which I agree with Paul Ryan, except perhaps the use of the P90X."
The press release makes a point of stressing that Snider does not support Ryan -- although that's pretty obvious.
