Tuesday night, July 24, at their sold-out arena show at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Aerosmith were joined by Run-D.M.C.’s Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels for a performance of the band’s two-time (first in 1977 as an Aerosmith track and then again in 1986 as a RuN D.M.C. and Aerosmith collaboration) chart-topping hit “Walk This Way.”
The show is part of Aerosmith’s in-progress Global Warming Tour. The trek brings the Bad Boys of Boston back to rock America’s soul.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees -- who celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2010 -- show no signs of slowing down anytime soon as they gear up for the new album, Music From Another Dimension, which is set for release on November 6.
