Megadeth's Dave Mustaine has announced that he will sell nearly 150 guitars, amps, pedals and other pieces of gear from his personal collection on reverb.com.

As you might imagine, the contents of Mustaine's collection are remarkable. Even just the highlights from the guitar category alone - among them a Dean Dave Mustaine Signature “Holy Grail” V (#1 of 33), a Dean Dave Mustaine Signature Zero Korina (#10 of 50) and a signed 2007 Dean Dave Mustaine Signature Silver V Prototype - are enough to raise the eyebrows of even the most seasoned collector.

On the amp front are a number of Marshall EL34 100/100 Dual Monoblocks - including one with the Megadeth frontman's autograph and another with his personal settings marked on it. There's also an autographed Furman PL-8 Power Conditioner and multiple Fractal Axe Fx-11s used by Mustaine on stage and in the studio.

Several tour-used Zoom G2.1DM Dave Mustaine Signature pedals - with their gaff tape still on - and a tour-used Akai MPC1000 drum machine with Mustaine's autograph are also available from the online store.

“When you’ve been playing and touring for as long as I have, you tend to amass quite a collection of gear. They’re great instruments and they represent more than 40 years of playing, but I’ve got more than I could possibly use myself,” Mustaine said in a statement. “I owe so much to my fans. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t even have all this gear. I’d rather give it back to them than let it sit and collect dust.

There's far too much in the Official Dave Mustaine Reverb Shop to list here, so if you want to see the whole shebang, hop on over to reverb.com.

Mustaine is currently undergoing treatment for throat cancer, which led to the cancellation of Megadeth's 2019 shows.
