Walden to launch Sollana series classical guitars at Summer NAMM

July 3, 2013
Walden is introducing a new line of Classical guitar models that reduce the friction and stress of owning and maintaining a classical guitar.  Walden has incorporated their modern Walden neck joint and neck reinforcement system into their new Sollana models without compromising playability or tone. Guitarists can spend more time playing their guitars and less time “maintaining” them. Attendees at the Summer NAMM show in Nashville will be the first to see how the modern neck system design enhances a classical design.
The Sollana series will also feature premium tone woods such as Engelmann Spruce, Sitka Spruce, and Western Red Cedar top options, and Mahogany or Indian Rosewood back and sides. In addition to the standard classical models, there will also be four cutaway models with electronics for the player looking to plug in onstage.
“The new Sollana series highlights revolutionary design elements that will enhance tonality, performance, and increase structural integrity to the world of classical guitars.” says Jonathan Lee, chief designer at Walden Guitars.
The Sollana series will feature twelve new models with Street Prices ranging from $189 to $1,199.
