We recently shared Jim Lill’s video where he demonstrates “7 Easy Guitar Chords That Will Make You Sound Better.”

Jim is back with seven more, and judging by the great response to his first installment, we imagine many of you will be glad for this second helping.

As Jim said about the previous video, “Everybody knows the basics—G, C, D, etc.—but if you really want to sound like you know what you’re doing, it’s good to have some tricks up your sleeve. Here are seven of them!”

In the new video, below, Jim demonstrates Fmaj7sus2, Esus2/G#, Dadd4, Eadd9, Gmaj7(no3), F#7add4 and Badd4. As before, he shows how and where to play them, and then demonstrates each over a recorded track.

Jim updates his YouTube channel frequently, so be sure to check in—or better yet, subscribe—to stay on top of what’s new.

And be sure to take a look at Jim’s new Guitar-Lick-A-Day Instagram page, where you can learn a new lick every day, with tab available for each lick.
