Jason Becker — who burned bright as the stunning guitarist in Cacophony (with Marty Friedman) and on David Lee Roth's A Little Ain't Enough album — has been bravely dealing with ALS since 1989, losing the ability to speak in 1996. Thanks to the system his father developed, Becker communicates with his eyes, and can therefore deliver this challenge to Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, and John Mayer.
Becker's third "Not Dead Yet Festival" will hit the stage at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall on August 30, and features Richie Kotzen, Steve Hunter, Michael Lee Firkins, Ben Woods, and other special guests. For tickets, click here.
