Ovation Guitars has unveiled its new Adamas Spalted Maple acoustic-electric guitar.

This Adamas guitar features a Lyrachord mid-depth body with a carbon-fiber top, and Adamas X-bracing. The body has a black textured finish, curly maple binding and - true to its name - spalted maple epaulettes.

Sonically, it packs an Ovation Custom Shop pickup with a bone saddle and a preamp with an active direct out.

The Adamas Spalted Maple also features a figured maple neck, an ebony fretboard with diamonds and dots inlays, a slotted headstock and a short-scale neck. A pin-less Ovation Keyhole Bridge and gold Schaller tuners also come standard.

The Ovation Guitars Adamas Spalted Maple acoustic-electric guitar comes with a molded case, and is available now for $4,199.99.
