New Gear NAMM 2010

May 1, 2010

You wouldn’t know that economic uncertainty is still gripping the nation from the traffic at the 2010 NAMM show in Anaheim, California, January 14-17. On opening day—typically a tad slow as it’s held on a Thursday—the aisles were so crowded that it was difficult getting through the halls to see all the gear. The “gear fever” continued throughout the weekend, and so many new products were unveiled that we decided to not only post myriad updates online as the show was happening, but also to assign NAMM a chunk of magazine pages to keep GP readers informed about all the goodies. Even then, we still couldn’t hit all the great releases, so stay tuned to our ongoing new gear updates at, as well as in future issues of GP. Whatever happens with the U.S. economy, for the guitar obsessed, it seems that new gear joy is upon us for 2010!
